Of course eventually some smart developer of a cheat will figure a way around it all and they’ll have to start over, but that’s just the nature of security and the reactive nature of it that you often can’t avoid. You can never stop cheating in online games, but making it difficult to cheat usually alleviates the issue enough that it’s a very rare occurrence and not a blight on the game. that will be recorded as one that was cheating and also maybe even have to do more than just run the program then a lot of Timmys out there won’t be cheating.

It was just so easy until this last patch it seemed, but if they have actually made it more difficult and Timmy can’t just PayPal, download, click program and go, and instead has to figure out how to HWID spoof/pay for that service, do something about the launcher/etc. People will find a way around it but the more effort it takes to do so, the less people will cheat. They’re doing HWID bans now and apparently being very strict regarding people who’s HWID changes (but is using same launcher/etc.) or if there is suspicion of spoofing it.
